A love triangle gone seriously, seriously wrong. Like, Bermuda Triangle wrong. Tickets are now available for off-Broadway's world premiere of Ode to Joy starring Tony nominee and Law and Order favorite Kathryn Erbe as a woman caught between a rock and a hard place. A production of Rattlestick Playwrights Theatre, the play has an opening night set for February 27.
Written and directed by Craig Lucas, Ode to Joy is a story of love, heartbreak, addiction and illness. Erbe stars as an artist named Adele, an audacious painter who tells the story of her destructive relationships with her two lovers, Mala (Roxanna Hope) and Bill (Arliss Howard). The creative team on board for the production includes set designer Andrew Boyce, costume designer Catherine Zuber, lighting designer Paul Whitaker and sound designer Daniel Kluger.
Feel better about your boring monotonous relationship, or lack thereof, by checking out the first performance of Ode to Joy on February 12 at the Cherry Lane Theatre. The show is set for a limited run through March 30.
